TERI’s horses are the backbone of the Equestrian Therapeutic Riding Program at the TERI Campus of Life. Their care and well-being are essential to providing therapeutic riding experiences for our special needs community.
Horses bring something unique to the therapeutic experience. Their movement, sensitivity and nonjudgmental nature create opportunities for connection and engagement that can help riders develop physical skills, confidence, communication, and independence. At TERI, these remarkable animals are partners in helping our clients discover what they can do.
