Campus Capital Campaign

Building our Future

We have entered the final stage of the Campus Capital Campaign, with a projected $60 million needed to fully complete the TERI Campus of Life. This fundraising push will bring to life the remaining core facilities that are central to our vision:

  • The Learning Academy & Dr. Bronner’s Country Day School – serving students ages 5–22

  • A state-of-the-art Technology Center

  • The “Fit for Life” Sports, Fitness & Aquatics Complex

  • The Center of Innovation – the heart of the Campus, including the Bornemann Child Development Center

Most importantly, completing the campus means that we can finally bring the remaining students and staff from our aging Oceanside facility to our visionary Campus of Life.

Why Now

Opening Every Door For Every Ability

Completing the campus is more than just a construction project—it means uniting all TERI students, families, and staff on one campus intentionally designed to meet their needs and provide 20 acres of opportunity for everyone.  It will allow us to retire from our aging Oceanside facility, reduce operational inefficiencies, and most importantly, enhance the way we provide our transformational programs and lifelong model of care, support and learning. This moment represents both a tremendous opportunity and responsibility. With design complete and permitting in the final stage, we are ready to move forward as soon as funding is secured. This will ensure we can build efficiently, avoid cost escalation, and bring students home to their new campus as quickly as possible.

Our Path Forward

We are projecting $60 million needed to complete the TERI Campus of Life and bring the full vision to reality. TERI has already raised and invested $2.5 million to complete all design and permitting work—ensuring that we are fully prepared to move forward with construction as soon as the necessary funds are secured.

Projected Cost to Complete the Campus
  • Breaking Ground: Raising the first $15M in private support, paired with a $15M mortgage, will launch the final phase of construction.

  • Single-Phase Goal: Our primary goal is to complete all remaining facilities in one construction phase—ensuring efficiency, continuity, and cost savings.

  • Flexible Approach: If needed, we will build in two phases to prioritize students and families, allowing us to transition them to the new campus as quickly as possible while advancing toward full completion.

Please note, figures have been rounded and are projections based on designed & permitted plans.
