Fine Arts

A Creative Space for Neurodiverse Artists

TERI's Fine Arts Program provides a supportive and inclusive environment where neurodiverse adults can develop independence, increase creativity, and explore self-expression through ceramics, crafts, painting, and mosaics. By engaging in the therapeutic and sensory aspects of art, students cultivate their talents and experience the joy of collective creativity in our studios. Student works are displayed in Washington, D.C., California state buildings, local galleries, and the TERI Performing Arts & Fine Arts Center. Many artists sell their pieces privately and through galleries, creating opportunities for microenterprise and professional growth. Fine art by TERI students is available for purchase at Sheri’s – A Unique Boutique located in the Vocational Center on the Campus, the TERI Inspired Resale Store in Oceanside, and partnering galleries throughout the community.

A Creative Haven for All: TERI’s Fine Arts Center

The 10,692 sq. ft. Fine Arts Center is a dynamic space designed to inspire creativity and inclusivity. Featuring indoor studios for photography, crafts, sculpting, ceramics, framing, painting, and drawing, the center integrates cutting-edge teaching, technology, and adaptive techniques to support artists of all abilities.

Beyond skill-building, the Fine Arts Center embraces the therapeutic and sensory benefits of the arts, offering an innovative curriculum for children and adults. Students and TERI artists engage in multimedia crafts, individual projects, and collaborative works, fostering self-expression and personal growth.

More than just a studio space, the Fine Arts Center is a hub for artistic engagement, hosting classes, lectures, exhibitions, and partnerships. With onsite and online courses led by professional artists, the center welcomes the community to explore, create, and connect through the power of art.
